Snow Days

During the awesome 5 days we had off I was able to get some snowboarding done. Thursday I headed up to Ashland knowing there power was out, but soon to come back on. The 2 feet of fresh had apparently caused some problems, anyways I made it up there and soon found out the power wasn't quite back on. So I waited until 1 to find out that they were going to give up. That was when I decided to hike and enjoy the powder no matter what. I got to hit a nice lip we added on to one of the table tops, so my drive wasn't completely worthless.

Friday we ended up having another snow day so I headed up again, this time the lifts were open and it was a blue bird day. I got to get some first tracks and 20 foot drops to bottomless powder in.

Monday of the next week I headed up again and rode again. 2 feet of fresh again and this time it was cold out and the fastest and lightest powder I'd riden. The bowl was sick, but visibility was bad so I just rode that a couple of times.
