Firecracker

The Firecracker was pretty wet and cold. Overall it was fun though, there were tons of bridges and banked turns to keep everything interesting. It was a three lap race that seemed quite short. I ended up taking first in the sport catagory.

New Tycer Crossing trails

Lex and I found these new honey combs of trails up around Tycer. We rode up the limestones and to the three way fork. Up at the top we took a right and headed out towards the lake. We stayed on the well maintained roads that went to the right. This ended up dropping us out at Tycer.

Last Sunday New trails found

Lex and I decided to hit up a new ride, so we went over the top of the limestones and explored the three downhill trails off of Lower Reeves Cr. This whole ride went extremely well. For the entire ride we did pretty well, we made it over and back to the school in around an hour.

Sunday At the Spring Thaw

The race was pretty sweet, my bike was running pretty terrible though. My rear derailleur was off and I couldn't fix it. It was fine earlier but Andy tried to fix my hub and something got thrown off. Anyways I got a pretty good timed run in even though I crashed in the middle. I took ten seconds off last years time and ended up getting 5th in sport.

Thursday

On Thursday I had to ride again by myself. I decided to go exploring, and ended up finding a decent, yet overgrown single track. I rode back for a while and it connected to some quad trails, but I took as many wrong turns as possible and got lost. In the end I finally made it home safe and sound.

STD

We took Chris and Greg's ride today to Pizza Deli. This ride wasn't really a ride, but it was fun and I had a good lunch. Then we got to go chill at the park and play around.

Tuesday

Tuesday Spence and I took sixth period off and went to my house so that we could clean and maintain our bikes. Then we rode out to Purple dirt. The whole ride was pretty good and my bike was running good.

Monday

Monday, we walked the limestones because of the sad condition of our bikes. I made it about half way up and then came back down.
